•	Keep handy those items you might use on a daily basis, such as microwave-safe dishes and utensils, can opener, dishcloths, dishwasher soap, paper plates and cups, coffee, coffee pot and sugar/creamer, microwavable foods, condiments, cereal, paper towels, napkins, and garbage bags.
•	Find a spot away from the work area where you can move and set up your refrigerator, microwave, and a table for preparation.
•	Finally, keep in mind that the vibrations from construction can cause movement in adjoining rooms, so be sure to remove any fragile items from the walls in those rooms closest to the kitchen.
